Past TJCSA President & Football Official Terry Brown
Terry Brown, Past TJCSA President from 2003, who has been employed with the Knox County Juvenile Court for seventeen years is also a footbalI official. He worked in the Southeastern (SEC) Conference as a football referee from 2000 - 2005. He received five College Bowl assignments which included two SEC Championships and one National Championship.
He received formal training by the NFL (National Football League) in Europe which has allowed him to travel to various parts of Europe at least two or three times per year to places such as Germany, Paris, Amsterdam (Netherlands), Switzerland, Ireland, and Spain.
Terry was hired into the NFL in the spring of 2006 as a "Field Judge" number 43 (FJ 43). He has worked such 2007 games as the Dallas Cowboys vs Washington Redskins; Baltimore Ravens vs New England Patriots; and recently worked his first playoff game, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New York Giants. Remember to look for him on TV in the fall when the pigskins fly!
