TJCSA Philantropic Activities

1999

Three endowments were established in 1999 with the foundations at 3 public universities in the state of Tennessee in the amount of $15,000.00 each: University of Memphis, formerly Memphis State University (MSU) Tennessee State University (TSU) University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK)

2000

During the Year of 2000 an endowment in the amount of $15,000.00 was established with the foundation at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga (UTC).

2003

An endowment in the amount of $15,000.00 was established with the foundation at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). During the same year the previous four established endowments were enhanced by $5,000.00 each.

2005

An endowment in the amount of $15,000.00 was established with the foundation at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).

2006

An endowment in the amount of $10,000.00 was established with the foundation at Volunteer State Community College; the same year, another $5,000.00 enhancement was added to the first four established endowments.

2007

An endowment in the amount of $10,000.00 was established with the foundation at Jackson State Community College in Jackson, Tennessee.
